AzMBA Show at Perry 2024
Spectator Parking
Enter the campus off of E Queen Creek Rd, turning South onto Perry Puma Drive. The parking lot immediately West of the campus is for spectators.
Spectator Entrance
Immediately South of Spectator Parking, all spectators enter and exit from the Northwest (Home) side of the Stadium.
Spectator Restrooms
Spectator Restrooms are located at the North end of the stadium, East of the Concessions area.
CUSD enforces a clear bag policy at all venues for spectators. No outside food or drink, besides bottled water, is permitted into the stadium.
ARRIVAL
All buses and equipment trucks enter on the East side of campus by way of 156th Street. Units unload in this designated drop-off location. After unloading, vehicles head south on 156th Street, turn right onto Appleby Road, turn right onto Val Vista, and immediately turn right onto East Chestnut Lane to enter bus and equipment truck parking.
CHECK-IN
Performers will receive a Hand Stamp for re-entry. Each Unit is given Field Passes in accordance with AZMBA Rules (16 for 4A/3A and 12 for 2A/1A). These passes are wristbands permitting the wearer onto the field for Performance and into the Stadium as a spectator.
BATHROOMS
There are several Bathrooms available around the campus, most notably at the Stadium. If students need to change in and out of uniform, please utilize the Bathrooms near the Auditorium Lobby (see map). Please note these are not locker rooms and space is limited, plan accordingly.
VISUAL WARMUP
The grassed areas of the Courtyard within the school buildings and the marked fields to the south of the school (see map) are available for Visual Warmups. These locations are first come, first served. Playing instruments and the use of any equipment audible by spectators at the Stadium is not permitted.
OFFICIAL WARMUP
There are three official warmup areas in the parking lot on the East side of campus. For ease of transitions, please keep a clear path on the North side of the parking lot, utilizing the South end for warmup. This area is timed – please note your transit time and plan accordingly. It takes approximately 8 minutes to walk to the Stadium from here.
PATH TO STADIUM
Units travel to the Stadium through the campus. Cross 156th Street with the assistance of the Volunteer crossing guard on site. Another Volunteer will be at the corner to stop outgoing equipment trucks and buses. Follow the wide sidewalk through campus, then turn left at the West Parking lot. This path takes approximately 8 minutes to traverse.
PROP & EQUIPMENT STAGING
The sidewalk along the North side of the baseball field is available for Prop & Equipment Staging. This area is directly available as the Unit arrives from Warmup. Please be courteous of other Unit’s items and their ability to move to their performances.
PERFORMER ENTRANCE
All performers will enter from the Northeast Side of the Stadium. Performers will be directed onto the track to stage on the Home Side, entering from Side 1. Please arrive promptly at the Ready Line time to avoid distracting from other performances.
PERFORMER EXIT
Performers will exit to the front on the Southwest side of the Stadium. If desired, performers may exit to the rear, traversing over three Long Jump Tracks. All exits are to Side 2.
MOTORIZED VEHICLES
The use of motorized vehicles on campus, track, and field is not permitted.
